LOCAL KIDS ATTEND THE MOVIES THANKS TO REGAL
Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica received a $5,000 grant to participate in Regal’s Summer Movie Express Program
Santa Monica, CA – July 2026 – Through a partnership with Regal, Boys & Girls Clubs of America are offering Clubs across the country an exciting chance to participate in the 2026 Summer Movie Express program. This initiative is designed to provide kids with fun, engaging learning opportunities tied to their favorite movies.
As moviegoers continue to fill theaters for the summer, Regal is committed to giving children the joy of watching movies in person, allowing them to fully dive into the cinematic experience. These grants facilitate transportation to and from movie theatres, purchase discounted tickets, include entertaining educational activities, and ensure Club members have access to concessions.

Since 1991, Regal has hosted special summertime entertainment for families to enjoy and to foster a love of moviegoing in each new generation. Admission to these kid-friendly movies is only $1 per ticket with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The Summer Movie Express 2026 program features two PG movies every Monday thru Thursday at 11:00 a.m. starting June 1 through August 13.
