Summer registration is now open! Main Branch Club will serve kids in grades 1 – 5 this summer with fun programming emphasizing sports and healthy habits.

Our Main Branch is located within walking distance of downtown Santa Monica. Since 1944, it has been one of the cornerstone organizations of the Santa Monica community, representing all ethnicities and income levels. We can service up to 200 children at full capacity. Kids are brought in by van and chaperoned walks from several local elementary schools, servicing over 128 zip codes across Los Angeles. 

Our Club offers a safe and supportive space for kids to come after school and during the summer. They will enjoy a state-of-the-art technology center, music studio and a Games Room that is always action-packed featuring an air hockey table, Dance Dance Revolution, foosball, ping pong and more! Additionally, we have a full-size gym and outdoor blacktop where members enjoy basketball, volleyball and other sports and activities. The Club also features an exclusive teen space for our young leaders to socialize and watch movies, complete homework, work on college applications, read, play games or just relax. We offer impactful programs ranging from homework help & tutoring to robust STEM courses, career exposure, nutrition, arts, leadership & community service, as well as a wide variety of athletics and dance. With supportive and trained Youth Development Professionals, we foster kids’ passions and help them connect those interests to meaningful higher education and career pathways.All members receive healthy snacks or meals daily and free transportation is provided from SMMUSD Elementary Schools and Lincoln Middle School.

The Lincoln “Main” Branch is the original branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, founded 79 years ago. Main has a rich history of serving all youth regardless of the school they attend and community they live in or socio-economic status. Youth ages 6 – 18 have participated in the arts, athletics, STEM, leadership and summer camps ever since.

Specialty Program Space

The Main Branch is located in Santa Monica, just blocks away from the world-famous Santa Monica Pier. In the building, our youth have access to an indoor basketball court/ Gymnasium with bleachers, a tech center with 30 desktop computers, 3D printers and recording studio, a large teen center with college bound, a games room, cafeteria and fully operating kitchen. The Club also includes a playground and a large blacktop play area for additional games, sports and community events.

Biddy Basketball

Main is home to one of our most successful athletics programs, Biddy Basketball. For many years members have had the opportunity to learn and compete in the sport of Basketball and the winners have gone on to travel to Hawaii for the final tournament. Near the entrance of the gym, you will find a trophy case showcasing our members’ amazing accomplishments.
