What happens when young entrepreneurs get the chance to step into the world of finance? Thanks to Clearlake Capital, our teens have had that experience.
Club members recently participated in the Clearlake Capital Career Dash, a day focused on innovation, career exploration, and connection with industry professionals.
The experience kicked off with a “Shark Tank“ style activity where teens developed and pitched their own business ideas. From concepts like Bin Bro to safer electric bikes and tech startups, teens showcased their creativity while receiving feedback on how to strengthen and grow their ideas.
They also had the opportunity to sit down with Clearlake employees for a Q&A session, asking thoughtful questions about careers in finance, the stock market, and financial literacy. For many, it was their first glimpse into the many roles that exist within a financial firm and how those careers can shape industries and communities.
The day concluded with a tour of the Clearlake office, where teens explored professional workspaces and gained a firsthand look at what a future career environment could look like.
The most impactful part of the day wasn’t just touring an office or learning about finance. It was watching our teens realize that they belong in these spaces too. Their questions, ideas, and curiosity drove every conversation, turning a day of career exploration into one filled with confidence and inspiration for what comes next.
