Partnering with Positive Coaching Alliance to Benefit Youth Athletes!

By October 28, 2025No Comments

We’re excited to announce that Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica has partnered with Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national nonprofit dedicated to creating positive, character-building sports experiences for all young athletes!

Through this partnership, Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica gains access to PCA’s proven training programs for coaches, parents, and young athletes. These resources help us create what PCA calls a Development Zone® culture—an environment where sports become a powerful tool for positive youth development.

Our sports programs already emphasize equal playing time, skill development, and character building. With PCA’s support, we’re taking that commitment even further. Kids participating in our flag football, basketball, volleyball, and track programs will benefit from:

  • Coaches trained in positive coaching techniques that prioritize growth and learning
  • A supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged
  • Focus on developing life skills like teamwork, resilience, and leadership
  • Programs designed to help kids fall in love with being active and healthy

Every child deserves a safe, supportive space to explore, grow, and play. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, we’re committed to championing play equity and creating big, bold futures for all kids in our community. Our partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance helps us deliver on that promise.
