The Need

≈ Half of all youth in the US do not believe they will go to college.

≈ 3.5 million jobs will require education in STEM by 2025.

≈ The US has a dramatic shortage of STEM workers.

The Approach

We provide homework help, STEM education & individualized coaching to help members chart a unique course to higher education and career pathways that align with their passions and talents.

Healthy Habits

Fostering lifelong healthy lifestyles

The Need

≈ Students in sports activities are less likely to suffer from stress & depression.

≈ Only 16.4% of U.S. students are required to take a personal finance class.

≈ 1 in 5 children in the US (ages 6-19) has been diagnosed with obesity.

The Approach

We offer programming that supports the development of lifelong healthy habits, including nutrition, healthy cooking, sports, and social-emotional & financial awareness.

≈ A 15 year Google study revealed the most successful employees are adaptable, resilient, emotionally intelligent, strong communicators, & curious. Numerous studies mark humility as a core quality of successful leaders.

Our staff is trained in a youth development method designed to create a safe, supportive and productive environment for youth, that fosters resiliency, communications skills, and robust self-confidence.

Community Service

Building a service leadership mentality

The Need

≈ Youth who volunteer 1 hour a week are 50% less likely to abuse alcohol, cigarettes, become pregnant, or engage in destructive behavior.

≈ Over 50 college admissions deans support Harvard University protocols emphasizing the quality of ethical and academic engagement over the quantity of students’ achievements.

The Approach

We offer a variety of age-specific, mentor-based service leadership programs which develop social-emotional competencies, foster connections to community and hone developmental skills that cultivate a strong work ethic and self-confidence.

Successful academic support programs encourage the pursuit of higher education and lead to thriving wage careers aligned with kids’ passions and talents. They are also positively associated with social-emotional skills such as creativity, resiliency, and problem-solving, which in turn increase success in school and life.
