Jorge has been a Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica member for six years and is our 2021 Youth of the Year. A remarkable student, Jorge stands out for his positivity and how he has adapted to working a fulltime job to support his family, completing his school work, applying for colleges and leading volunteer activities at school and the Club. Jorge says, “The disadvantages that we face can be our greatest advantages in life as I’m proud of the obstacles I have overcome and I’m ready to inspire others that the sky is not the limit.”
