As part of our investment in social-emotional development for kids, we have an in-house Associate Clinical Social Worker on staff.
Our social worker is a resource for your family. He is trained in providing therapeutic services to youth, children, and families from varying backgrounds, and can support youth experiencing social-emotional challenges, including experiences of sadness, anxiety, nervousness, overwhelm, hyperactivity, grief, loss, and trauma.
Mental Health Services
*Individual or group services aren’t guaranteed—a referral may be provided depending on our Social Worker’s caseload. At this time, Direct Therapy Services are generally reserved for members of the Mar Vista Gardens Club. Our social worker is able to provide referrals, consultations, and connections to community resources for members and families at all Club locations.”

Our Social Worker Can Provide:
- Individual therapy* for children that can:
- Support them in managing and changing challenging behaviors
- Support the exploration and development of coping and emotional regulation strategies
- Support them in exploring, identifying, expressing, and understanding feelings and thoughts
- Support them in exploring and identifying their values
- Group therapy* sessions
- Family therapy or caregiver consultations
- Referrals or connections to community resources to your child and family
