Volunteer 

Share your passion, talent & skills with Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica.
Volunteers like you make an impact – not only in our organization but in the lives of our members. We’re looking for dedicated people and organizations who are interested in serving 1+ hour per week for an agreed-upon length of time (corporate and/or special group volunteers may provide support in a different capacity). We customize our volunteer opportunities based on your interests. Whether you’re a marketing specialist looking to exercise your skills for greater good, or you’re hoping to connect with youth directly through tutoring or coaching – we welcome your participation.

Summer Camp

6/13/2023-8/11/2023

We are looking for coaches and class support at our Mar Vista Gardens, John Adams Middle School, and Main Branch Clubs. Youth ages 6-18.

Check back in August for more volunteer opportunities during the 2023-2024 school year!

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Because we work with youth, we have a rigorous volunteer application process to ensure our kids’ safety and well-being.

1. Complete the Volunteer Application & provide a scan or photo of your Driver’s License

2. Consent to a background check (this must be completed annually)

3. Complete a TB Test & provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination
We require all volunteers to complete a TB test or have a medical professional complete the attached TB risk assessment form. This can be done at your doctor’s office or any other urgent care/medical facility of your choosing.

4. Complete a Live Scan (fingerprint test)

5. Complete 3 online trainings in MyBGCA.net which takes approximately 2 hours.

6. Submit application fee/donation of $75 to help offset costs associated with the background check and Live Scan.
