Santa Monica (CA): The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica (BGCSM) gratefully acknowledges the generous $10,000 support from Bank of America to advance educational and employment opportunities for more than 4,000 youth served by the Club. Together, Bank of America and BGCSM are committed to addressing the needs of young people by advancing financial wellness and stability and providing access to life-changing resources that prepare young adults for success in college and the workplace.
By partnering with Bank of America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica are helping to drive economic opportunity for the most vulnerable youth in Santa Monica and greater West Los Angeles and setting them on the path for success in college or trade school, the workplace and life.

Celebrates 4 Year Anniversary!
On January 28th MVG celebrated their 4 year anniversary! Thank you to all the dedicated staff at SMBGC who work day-in and day-out to ensure that our youth have great futures!
Torch Club’s We R3: Recycle, Reduce, Reuse
The Main Branch ‘Youngsters’ Torch Club have been working on their clubhouse service project “We R3” Recycle, Reduce, Reuse; to promote a more sustainable, eco-friendly club.
On 1/19/17 they bagged up all of the recycle material gathered and took a field trip to the local recycling center to dispose. The goal was to see the entire process of recycling and how hard work pay$ off.
Our members collected 11 large bags total for a net worth of $54. The proceeds collected will be used as a fundraiser for this years Torch Club Summit.

Mar Vista Gardents and Main Branch brought a total of 24 kids, 4 volunteers and 4 staff (Jay, Sean W. Amanda, Brian S) to the Long Beach Aquarium for some fun with the aquatic life!
It was a great end of year trip to culminate all of their hard work and dedication put forth through the STEM program.

Practices are at 5 PM-6 PM and 6 PM-7 PM, coach chooses day of the week.
Games on Fridays from 5 PM to 7 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Jessica Rubecindo – Administrator of the Year!
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica (BGCSM), is proud to announce that Jessica Rubecindo, Manager of Resource Development and Volunteer Management, has been named Administrator of the Year for the Pacific Region! Awarded by The Professional Association of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), Jessica was recognized during a special awards luncheon at the BGCA Pacific Regional Conference on Thursday, September 22nd at 12:45 PM held at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paradise Valley in Scottsdale, AZ.
