We have two auxiliary groups whose charter is to extend our reach into our community to raise awareness of and funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica. Both of these groups are open to those in the general public interested in working with a group of like-minded professionals to advance the mission of our organization. For more information, please contact Janis Morse at (310) 361-8523 or janis@smbgc.org.
The Council was created in 1977 by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica Board of Governors and local community volunteers. Currently in charge of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica’s biggest fundraiser of the year, The Annual Auction & Dinner, the Council is the largest single source of unrestricted gifts for SMBGC each year. Club Blue was launched in 2011 with the goal of engaging younger generations who are interested in giving back to the community. Club Blue members come together on a monthly basis to brainstorm fresh new ways to raise awareness and funding for the organization, then quickly bring these ideas to life. These include social media concepts, social events and more. Last year this group hosted the inaugural Toast & Taste Santa Monica. Learn more.
