“The Club has positively impacted my life in several ways. First, I procrastinate less by getting my homework done several days ahead of time instead of doing it the day before. Another way that the Clubshouse has positively impacted me is that is has showed me that I was not the only kid in school that enjoyed playing computer games and I have made many friends as a result. I have me dedicated staff members that seem to be always waiting to talk to me and help me with whatever I am doing. Finally, the Clubhouse has really helped me get a better understanding of money, making me want to save even more.”

“The Club has impacted me because before I never did my homework and didn’t understand it, but now I can get help on it and finish so I can give my homework to my teacher. Also, the Clubhouse gives me something to do after school rather than staying home and watching TV. In the summer I meet a lot of friends and had a lot of fun here. You can do so many things at the Clubhouse. I love it!”

“The Boys and Girls Club gives me a place to go when I have nowhere to go. I love the music area here, where I’ve gotten to learn how to play the piano, something I wouldn’t have been able to learn outside the club. I’m really grateful the Boys and Girls Club is here for others and myself: It’s my home away from home, the staff is like my second family and all the good memories I have will stay with me forever. I’ll definitely be coming here this summer for more fun!”

“The Club has given me a place to just hang out and do my homework. I have met a lot of new people and have had a lot of good times. I am learning how to play the drums and I’m getting better at pool. I am also learning new things on the computer that I can teach my family when I get home. My grades have really improved as I have started coming here. I can’t wait to come during summer too!”
