The Council is an auxiliary group created in 1977 by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica Board of Governors and local community volunteers who wanted to help advance the organization. Currently in charge of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica’s biggest fundraiser of the year, The Annual Auction & Dinner, the Council is the largest single source of unrestricted gifts for SMBGC each year.
Open to the general public, the Council is made up of professionals and community leaders whose teamwork, enthusiasm and professional and personal networks are instrumental in their ability to an impact.
